The weather cooperated and we gathered at the lovely Artistry on Evans in Tecumseh on Friday morning and the fun lasted throughout the weekend. The accommodations were lovely in this Victorian home. Here's the entry hall, the living room and one of the bedrooms. Isn't it gorgeous?
The craft room was great with 2 design boards that got used. How about these beauties that were worked on? And we got one UFO finished as well. This UFO was 9 years in the making. .... so cute.
The case cover took a step up for one gal. Using the FW fabric that's the same size as an actual machine, she designed a whole new creation. I can't wait to see the finished project.
And, we all got to listen to the wonderful click click click of the 12 FWs that were there. Lots of machine and parts cleaning got done that needed to get done. I don't even know how many times we had to change the water in the sonic jewelry cleaner. It got a workout. And the meals were so yummy! Thanks for all the tasty food.
So, if you've never gotten to go to one of our FW retreats, you should think about adding one to your future. We sure do have a grand time. And, thanks to all that came this past weekend, worked and got so much done, and just made our gathering wonderful.
Thanks again Jean, you are marvelous and your knowledge of FW's is beyond belief.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very beneficial workshop for FW owners, you get the best of location, food, teaching, and FW maintenance.
Bravo Jean.
Ahhh You're too sweet, Scrappy. You know I love doing this and getting those featherweights running in tip top shape. Can't wait to have the next retreat already.
