Singer Foot Pedal Rest for the Vintage Foot Controllers
If you have ankle issues that make it difficult for you to use those vintage foot controllers, I have the solution for you.  The wood pedal rest allows you to press straight ahead to make your machine run smoothly rather than twisting your ankle from side to side.  The rest is handmade with a poly finish and stained golden  oak.  There is a non-stick material under the pedal rest that keeps it from sliding on smooth floors.                                              Cost-  $35.00 plus shipping

Out of Stock-  Will let you know when more are available.

FW Case Cover Pattern
If you have a featherweight 221 in a case you want to protect that case from damage and/or wear.  Those handles on many of our cases are fragile and it's risky to carry the case with a 60 or 70 year old handle anymore.  So, inspired by Laura Coia and her You-tube video at her sew very easy site, I've put together a written pattern with some changes like handles, a continuous fabric going all the way around the case, and measurements that you'll use to fit your individual case perfectly. Laura has graciously given me permission to make this written pattern available to you and I encourage you to visit her site and view her many videos about many sewing things.

I have opened an Etsy store to make this pattern available to you as a download or for just the cost of postage I will send you the physical paper pattern.  My Etsy store is jdquilts123.  If you google etsy.com and enter my store name, jdquilts123, it will take you there and you will find this pattern as well as the pattern for the extension bed cover.  I'll be adding things from time to time so go there to visit when you think of it.

 Singer Featherweight 221

I am always on the lookout for another FW machine that needs some tender loving care to bring it back to life. And when I find them, I clean them up the best I can, oil grease and lube their motors and then replace things that need to be replaced and make them available to you.  I always sew on the machines I offer for sale for at least a couple of weeks to make sure you won't have any problems when she comes to your house.

The machines are priced depending upon what I have to pay to buy them and then repair things that need fixing.  But, also, their cosmetic condition is part of the cost as well.  A machine in great condition with a mirror finish will cost the most because those are really hard to find.
