How about all of you? Are you ready for Spring to really begin? For those reading this from Texas, California, or Florida, you're thinking I'm crazy. It's been warm for you all for quite a while. We had hoped we could head back to the UP this month before the wedding early next month but when the neighbor called to tell us there was still 3 feet of snow in our driveway up there, we rearranged our plans. I guess it will be wedding first and UP afterwards.
Speaking of the wedding, the shower for our grandson and his new bride was so much fun. I baked the cake for their outdoorsy theme. We are so excited for our special couple. I still have to get their elephant quilt quilted. I'm running out of time. I've been so busy. If I can't get it finished, it will be an after the wedding gift. There's only so much I can do.
This week coming up is the last of the FW Club Classes for the season. I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone and doing a few FW things. We do want to whoop it up for this last one.
And, I want to remind all of you about our retreats coming up in August. We have so much fun at those and we really get a lot done on our machines, like taking things apart and really cleaning them. We don't have time for deep cleaning in the maintenance classes but we get to all those hidden dirty spots at the retreats. This August I plan on making the FW fabric machine cover and I'm going to put together kits for you all that want to make one during the retreats. I'll give more information about that in the upcoming posts. There are a few spots still open in the August 17-18 retreat. Email me if you'd like more information or are just interested and have questions.
